I have had 3 switch
guitars and this is the best. On a scale of 1 - 10 on the guitar scale I give
it about an 8.5. The inovatioin in this guitar is unreal. First, like all
Switch guitars, it's all one piece and made of a synthetic material somthing
like the materials used in bowling balls. It has two humbuckers, and a piezo
bridge. The strings run straight through the body and out the bottom of the
guitar. The controlls are striaght forward. There are three EQ sliders for
high, mids, and lows, there is a presence pot, and a small push button used to
test the battery-active piezo. Yea, another guitar that takes a 9 volt. There
are two 1/4" output jacks, one outputs the piezo, and the other ouputs the
humbuckers. You have to use 2 guitar cables and plug into 2 different inputs on
the amp or have two amps to play through simultainiously, in order to get both
sets of pickups at once. You can get this guitar to sound like anything and the
Vibracel body has sustain forever. The only think I don't like is, like all
Switch guitars, is that the frets are too high. A trip the the guitar shop can
take cars of that. |
