| Comments | Greetings Michael, you have a GREAT story/history. Your photos are wonderful and I've always wanted one of those solid body Ovation electric guitars! I found your web page by seaching "detroit guitar players". I just started playing in the early 70's as you were gigging already. I went to Chadsey High in Detroit and graduated in 1976. I will be in the January 2008 issue of Bass Player Magazine because i made a cardboard box 2-string upright electric bass. It's a silly thing, but kinda cool too. I've played in bands called Cadillac Kidz, The Purple Gang, and Skeleton Crew... but i'm a husband/father/mailman and now cardboard box bassist. It was a lot of fun reading through your history and seeing all these old band names and places ect. Unfortunatly I could not hear any of the music.
